New Resources Available For Reassessment Appeals Process

Allegheny County property owners now have some new, streamlined resources to help prepare them for their formal reassessment appeals.

On Tuesday, County Executive Rich Fitzgerald announced the new resources that are available on the county's website.

He said the resources include listings of all properties used as comparables for the 2013 reassessment.

The website also has handouts and powerpoint slides from the recent town hall meetings.

Fitzgerald also said that all informal reviews must be held by June 1. Anyone who has requested an informal hearing, but has not had it yet or had one scheduled should send their name and property address to OPAInformalReview@alleghenycounty.us

You can also call 412-350-4600 weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. through this Friday, May 18. On Monday, May 21, the call center hours will change to Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
