Teen Beaten With Bat In Jeannette
JEANNETTE (KDKA) – A Westmoreland County teenager had to be flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after she was beaten with a baseball bat.
The 17-year-old girl reportedly got into an argument with an 18-year-old girl at the South Sixth Street playground in Jeannette.
Police don't know what lead to the altercation, but say they were called to the scene around 8:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Jasmine Henry was charged with both aggravated and simple assault and placed in the Westmoreland County Jail on $25,000 bond.
