PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Pittsburgh Pirates made a couple of roster moves ahead of their Interleague series finale with the Detroit Tigers Sunday morning.

According to the Pirates’ official website, Jason Grilli has been placed on the Bereavement List due to the passing of his wife’s grandmother.

To fill his spot on the roster, the Pirates have called up left-hander Jeff Locke from Triple-A Indianapolis.

In eight starts this season, Locke is 3-3 with a 3.02 ERA.

Locke made his MLB debut last season with the Pirates and went 0-3 with a 6.48 ERA in four starts.

The Tigers and Pirates have split the first two games of the series and will close out the series today at 1:05 p.m. at Comerica Park.
