Jury Selection Postponed In Trial For Accused Cop Killer
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Jury selection has been postponed in the trial of a man accused of killing a local police officer in 2009.
Ronald Robinson is accused of shooting and killing Officer Michael Crawshaw in December of 2009.
Officer Crawshaw was shot in his patrol car while responding to a call at a house on Johnston Road in Penn Hills.
Robinson is also accused of killing Danyal Morton at the home that Officer Crawshaw was heading to.
The shooting at the home was allegedly over a $500 drug debt.
Jury selection was set to begin Tuesday morning, but has been postponed until October.
Robinson could face the death penalty if convicted.
