Chef Ramsay's 'Kitchen Nightmares' Comes To Beaver
BEAVER (KDKA) -- Celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay takes his tough love recipe to failing restaurants coast to coast and now he's brought it to Beaver County.
"Kitchen Nightmares" is in Beaver to help out Levanti's.
"There's been several Italian restaurants in town and I think this was the best one," said one passerby.
"My food was okay. I think they definitely need a touch of Gordon," added another patron.
Can this restaurant be saved? Chef Ramsay says anything's possible.
"Customers are king. They've forgotten that, so what they were serving 14, 15 years ago, unfortunately they're still serving the same food," he said. "Customers are too smart for that. They want to eat fresh, local and it needs to embed itself in the community again."
So, is there hope for Levanti's?
"You know what, right now we're making some major changes, but there's always hope," Ramsay said.
