Man Pulled From Settlers Cabin Park Wave Pool

OAKDALE (KDKA) - A swimmer was rescued from the wave pool at Settlers Cabin Park in Oakdale Sunday afternoon.

The victim is a 25-year-old man who was pulled from the pool by lifeguards.

"We heard the lifeguards start freaking out. We were all swimming, we all got out. We saw two lifeguards dive in and they pulled him out of the water – there was four of them by that time," Cameron Zahorchak said. "He was all blue and we were literally right there on the sidewalk."

It's believed that lifeguards were able to resuscitate the victim.

He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, but there is no update on his condition.

A spokesman for Allegheny County told KDKA-TV that he believes that the victim is still alive.
