Penguins' Full 2012-2013 Schedule Released
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- With NHL Draft excitement sweeping Pittsburgh, it's time to start looking ahead to the new season.

The Penguins will open the season here in Pittsburgh at CONSOL Energy Center on Friday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. against the New York Islanders.
The Pens will then hit the road for a game against the Buffalo Sabres the very next night at the First Niagara Center. It is the first of 14 sets of back-to-back games the Pens will face during the season.
Other highlights on the Penguins' schedule include two six-game road swings from Oct. 26 to Nov. 7 and Feb. 26 to March 9 as well as a seven-game homestand from March 10-22.
The Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings will visit Pittsburgh on Feb. 10.
As for the archrival Philadelphia Flyers, the Penguins will do battle with the team that knocked them out of the 2012 post-season for the first time on Oct. 18 at the Wells Fargo Center.
