Washington Co. Motorcycle Crash Leaves 1 Dead
UNION TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – One person was killed in a Saturday night crash in Union Township.
According to state police, the accident happened on State Route 88 near Summer Lane around 5 p.m.
A 2008 Harley Davidson Softail was traveling at a high rate of speed. While negotiating a right turn in the road, the motorcycle crossed the center line and into the path of a 2007 Chevrolet Malibu.
As a result of the head-on collision, the driver of the motorcycle died. He has been identified as 37-year-old Denny Ketterman.
The driver of the Malibu was not hurt.
