Missing Findlay Twp. Man Found Safe

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Authorities say a Findlay Township man who had been missing for days has been found safe.

Michael Wolkenstein had last been seen at his home on Monday morning.

But a nurse at Allegheny General Hospital called police early this morning when Wolkenstein tried to check himself in.

He was being checked out by a doctor as a precaution.

The search for him focused on the Montour Trail.

Authorities were worried about him because he had some medical conditions.

There's no word on where he had been.
