The woman said she screamed and told the suspect that her baby was in the car.

Ross Township police say the suspect wouldn’t let the woman go and hit her in the face.

“She had previously started her vehicle with a remote start prior to getting to it because of the hot day and to get her air conditioning running,” said Detective Brian Kohlhepp, of Ross Township Police. “She screamed, and she believed she was struck in the face with something, and then the male took off running.”

The suspect is believed to be six-feet tall and in his mid-20s. He also had on a red hoodie with the words “ECKO RED” on it.
