Trial Date Set In Deadly Armored Truck Heist Case
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A trial date has been set for the man accused in connection with a deadly, multimillion dollar armored truck robbery earlier this year.
The Allegheny County District Attorney's Office says the trial for Ken Konias is set to begin Jan. 7, 2013.
Konias is charged in the death of his partner, Michael Haines, and taking more than $2 million from the armored truck they were driving.
The DA's Office has said it will not seek the death penalty in the case.
