Amber Alert Canceled, Triple-Murder Suspect Arrested In Ohio

QUINCY TOWNSHIP (KDKA/AP) – A man wanted in connection with a triple-homicide in Franklin County Friday night was arrested in Ohio on Saturday.

According to police, Kevin Cleeves was trying to contact his wife Friday to make arrangements to pick up his daughter, Leia, but she didn't answer the phone. He then went to a home in the 7700-block of Anthony Highway in Quincy Township around 9 p.m.

When he arrived, he found his wife, Brandi, in a vehicle with Vincent Santucci II and his daughter.

During an argument with Santucci, Kevin Cleeves allegedly pulled out a gun and shot Santucci in the vehicle.

Then, Brandi Cleeves got out of the vehicle and was also shot. Santucci's mother, Rosemary Holma, heard the commotion outside, came out of the house and was shot as well.

Kevin Cleeves grabbed his daughter and fled the scene, which prompted an Amber Alert to be issued.

State police in Michigan called troopers in Pennsylvania to say that Cleeves had contacted relatives in Eaton Rapids, Mich. and confessed to the shootings.

The Amber Alert was canceled Saturday morning after police in Austintown, Ohio, apprehended Kevin Cleeves.
