Former GM John Hart Discusses Lincoln/Snider Trade
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - Former MLB General Manager, and current MLB Network Analyst, John Hart joined the Fan Morning Show to talk about the MLB Trade Deadline.
The discussion included the trade the Pirates made early Tuesday morning that sent relief pitcher, Brad Lincoln to Toronto for outfielder, Travis Snider.
John tells the guys that initial thoughts may be negative about the deal because it doesn't do much for the present roster, but Snider could be a big part of the Pirates' future.
We also hear John's thoughts on some of the potential moves around MLB, and what effect they will have on the Pirates directly, or indirectly through their competition heading toward the playoffs.
