PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) — Recently inducted Pro Football Hall of Famer Chris Doleman joined The Fan Morning Show Friday to talk about his enshrinement and to promote the Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund, a charity that provides medical and financial assistance to retired players in dire need.

He explained that most players the fund helps are not irresponsible with the money.
“There are so many guys that built the National Football League that are out there that… fell on hard times financially,” he says. “It’s not about guys wasting money or guys living lifestyles beyond their means.
