Periods Of Showers, Storms Could Move Through Area

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Wet weather is sticking around the Pittsburgh area for another day.

KDKA meteorologist Dennis Bowman says we will continue to deal with periods of showers and thunderstorms in the Pittsburgh area.

According to Bowman, it will not rain all the time, but additional showers will move through the region from time to time today.

Some of the rain could take the form of heavy downpours in spots through the afternoon and early evening.

Bowman says today's temperatures will be cooler with a high of 76 degrees.

We can expect mostly cloudy skies tonight with a low of 62.

On Saturday, Bowman says it will be partly sunny with an afternoon thundershower possible and a high of just 72.

On Sunday, the rain will clear out and conditions will be partly sunny with a high of 78.
