State Police: Nemacolin Resort Employee Facing Attempted Rape Charges
WHARTON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- State police in Fayette County say a man is facing charges in the alleged attempted rape of a fellow employee at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Wharton Township.
According to investigators, Kevin Bowen of Farmington was arrested and has been charged with criminal attempt rape, criminal trespass, simple assault and harassment.
The incident was reported just before 2 p.m. Friday.
State police say Bowen and the alleged victim are both employees at the resort.
Bowen was arraigned and his bail was set at $50,000. He is being held in the Fayette County Prison.
A preliminary hearing has been set for Aug. 15.
