Local Man Accused Of Tossing 4-Year-Old In Pool
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A 20-year-old pregnant woman says her boyfriend beat her up and tossed her 4-year-old son in a backyard pool filled with water.
Missy Bailey says when she asked 29-year-old Edward Wisniewski about a text he was sending a former girlfriend he began beating her.
Bailey was visiting family in Vandergrift and Wisniewski was visiting her.
She says her son was yelling, "Get off my Mommie!"
That's when Wisniewski allegedly grabbed the boy by his face and threw him in the pool. After about a minute, he pulled the boy out and reportedly said, "I should have let him drown."
The boy is okay. Wisniewski is in the Westmoreland County Prison under $50,000 bond facing numerous charges including attempted homicide for tossing the boy in the pool.
