Road Reopened After Overnight Fuel Spill In Mount Pleasant

MOUNT PLEASANT (KDKA) -- A fuel spill shut down a stretch of roadway in Westmoreland County overnight as crews cleared away a big mess at the scene.

The spill happened in the area of Routes 119 and 31 in Mount Pleasant.

A pickup truck hauling a tanker reportedly leaked fuel onto the roadway for about four miles.

A section of the road had been shut down so the fuel could be cleaned up, but it has now been fully reopened.

There were no reports of any injuries.
