“I thought someone had lost their laundry,” another man says.
However, the reality is anything but humorous. 54-year-old James Klutch is charged with simple assault and violating the protection from abuse order that his wife filed yesterday.
Just before 11:00 p.m., he returned to their home.
“She returned home and found him. There was some kind of an exchange happening and she says he punched her which caused her to lose her breath,” Officer Jonathan Miles says.
He left the home taking the entire contents of his wife’s underwear drawer.

He tried returning to the home again late this afternoon.
“He returned and tried to get inside the residence but left and was apprehended a short distance later” Officer Miles says.
Klutch remains in custody tonight. He was arraigned at 8:00p.m.
