Labor Day Parade Prompts Traffic Restrictions Along Route

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- More than 60,000 workers and their families are expected to take part in Pittsburgh's annual Labor Day Parade in Downtown Pittsburgh Monday.

Of course, that means there will be some traffic restrictions through town.

The parade kicks off at 10 a.m. at Centre Avenue and Crawford Street Uptown near the CONSOL Energy Center.

Here is the route:

  • Down Centre Avneue
  • Onto Sixth Avenue
  • Then to Grant Steet
  • To the Boulevard of the Allies
  • And ending in front of the Steelworkers Building on the Boulevard of the Allies at Stanwix Street

Traffic will be restricted around the parade route.
