2nd Suspect Arrested In Richland Home Invasion

RICHLAND (KDKA) -- Northern Regional Police have arrested a second suspect following Monday's home invasion in Richard Township.

Northern Police Chief Robert Amann told KDKA-TV that 18-year old Leo Nealon of Middlesex Township, Butler County, was arrested at his home without incident.

Police say Nealon and a juvenile face charges of robbery and conspiracy.

The pair broke into a home off Sandy Hill Road kicking in the front door, after first trying to get into a side door.

The house sits in a wooded area a few hundred feet off the road. Chief Amann thinks the two teens were after electronic items.

The juvenile was quickly arrested as he was exiting the house. A 17-year old who was home from school at the time ran outside when he heard the noises and called 911, providing police with a description of the two burglars.

Police have not said if the teenager who was home was acquainted with the two suspects. The two teens fled the house empty handed.
