Replacement Referees Are Ruining NFL, Says Former Ref

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) -- The NFL works hard to put a quality product on the field every week, and the business is valued over $9 billion.

With that said, many critics, including former NFL referee and Pittsburgher Sanford Rivers, are saying that the temporary referees used to replace the regular referees that are on strike, are ruining the game.

Botched calls, bad clock management, and general sloppiness are taking their toll on players and fans, and Sanford says it needs to get resolved ASAP.

KDKA AM's Larry Richert and John Shumway talk to Sanford live at the Spaghetti Breakfast to hear his thoughts on the referee strike.
