CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora Updates NFL's Replacement Referees Situation
PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) -- With the replacement referee situation in the NFL passed the boiling point, the Fan Morning Show spoke to CBS Sports' NFL Insider, Jason La Canfora.
As for a deal between the NFL and the locked out referees, Jason says, "I wouldn't have my hopes up that something will happen imminently."
If a deal will be made, don't expect the owners to be the ones to compromise.
"Ratings are better than ever. The business of the NFL is booming," La Canfora says. "And as long as that is the case, the NFL can handle a little bad press."
