Good Samaritan's Car Stolen Along Parkway East

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - State police are searching for the suspect in a carjacking along the Parkway East on Friday night.

According to police, a Good Samaritan's vehicle was stolen when she stopped to help the suspect who had crashed his vehicle around 11:30 p.m. at the Greensburg Pike exit ramp in Churchill.

The suspect is described as an African-American male in his early 40s, standing about 6-feet-2-inches to 6-feet-5-inches tall and weighing about 250 pounds.

He was wearing a black jacket and black jeans.

Investigators say the suspect pushed her out of the way and got in her car, which was still running, and took off.

The stolen car is a blue Mazda M3 hatchback with a bike rack on the roof and Pennsylvania registration GXK8552.
