2 Local Clinics Received Medication Linked To Fungal Meningitis Outbreak

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- There are new details on a nationwide meningitis outbreak.

The Allegheny County Health Department is now working with other agencies to contact patients who could be infected.

Thursday, state health officials reported two clinics received a medication linked to cases in other states.

One is South Hills Pain and Rehab Associates, which has locations in Jefferson Hills, Bethel Park, Monessen and Brentwood.

The other is Allegheny Pain Management in Altoona.

No local illnesses have been identified.
