Mercer Co. Crash Leaves 1 Dead
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – One person has died and another is injured after a crash Saturday morning in Mercer County.
Around 7 a.m., a vehicle crashed into a telephone pole in Delaware Township. It happened on the 800-block of Mercer Road.
The driver was speeding and lost control of the vehicle before crashing, according to authorities.
The passenger in the vehicle died. State police have identified him as 22-year-old William Trgovic II.
The driver, identified by authorities as 18-year-old Casey Wilkins of Grove City, was taken to St. Elizabeth's Hospital for treatment.
Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
