Local Photographer Accused Of Inappropriate Contact With Employees

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A Squirrel Hill business owner who is already facing corruption of minors and promoting prostitution charges has another former employee saying she too was allegedly touched inappropriately.

Robert Carrington owns Photos and More on Murray Avenue.

A 17-year-old formally filed charges alleging Carrington asked her to take off her clothes before lying down on top of her.

When a 19-year-old former employee heard the account, she decided to tell her story so that other people this may have happened to come forward.

The 19-year-old said she only worked at Photos and More for about a month; and that on her last day, Carrington allegedly waited until the two were alone before he asked her to get on the ground and laid on top of her. She says he allegedly licked her chest and said he would take care of her.

"He told me to lay on the ground, and then he got on top of me, and he was like, 'Does that feel good? Does that feel good?' And I was just like, I couldn't breathe," she said.

Carrington's attorney hadn't heard about the 19-year-olds claims, but says the 17-year-old only filed the charges because Carrington fired her for stealing from the business.

His attorney says the claims are false.

"These charges didn't come about till after she was terminated from employment," said Turahn Jenkins, Carrington's attorney. "So, we contend that this is retaliation for what he did."

Carrington has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Wednesday.
