3 Accidents Impact Morning Commute On Parkway North

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Emergency crews had their hands full following three separate accidents on the Parkway North Tuesday morning.

According to police, the first accident happened on Interstate 279 north just past the Camp Horne Road exit in Ohio Township where a motorcycle and a deer collided.

The driver reportedly suffered rib injuries in the accident.

A second accident, involving a van, happened a short distance away from the motorcycle crash.

The van flipped over at mile marker 11 in Franklin Park Borough. There is no word if anyone was injured or what led to the accident at this time.

The third accident involved three vehicles near mile marker 10.

One car ended up on its roof in the median, while two other cars were damaged in the accident.

Traffic was backed up for a while until crews could clear the scene.
