Light-Hearted Larry Foote Looks Ahead To Washington

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - Larry Foote is feeling very good about the defensive performance in Sunday night's win over the Bengals.

Larry says that the defense started slow, and were upset about it because Cincinnati didn't do anything unexpected. But, they made adjustments and were able to keep Cincy in check the rest of the game.

Looking forward to the Washington Redskins, the Steelers will have to worry about Robert Griffin III. The team will break down film on Tuesday, but Larry tells us that he has seen a lot of highlights of the rookie QB, and the team will have to keep him from running all over the field.

Larry had an interception hit him in the hands, but dropped it. He tells us he has been hearing about it for the past few days, from teammates and friends.

The opportunities do no come around very often for middle line backers, so he assures us, "I'll get the next one."

The team is now 3-3 and not exactly where they want to be. But, Larry says that the Steelers are still in the hunt, but they've, "got a lot of football left, and [they] have to turn it around."
