Chryst Previews Notre Dame Game, Gives Update On Ray Graham
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) -- Pitt football head coach Paul Chryst joined The Fan Morning Show on Wednesday.
Pitt takes on No. 3 Notre Dame in South Bend this Saturday at 3:30 p.m., with 93-7 The Fan's Panther Preview with Gregg Giannotti beginning at 12:40 p.m.
Chryst explained how the team is approaching such a big road matchup against a top-flight program.
"At some point, every game is going to come down to what's happening between the lines," Chryst explained. "But guys are excited about the opportunity."
Chryst was pleased that RB Ray Graham finally felt that he was "back" against Temple, after struggling at times during his recovery from a torn ACL.
"I hope he wakes up the same way on Saturday," Chryst said. "So much of coming back from injury is gaining confidence in yourself, and I think that does help."
He added that Graham's influence in the locker room has been a major boon to the team.
