AP: DePasquale Wins 3-Way Race For Pa. Auditor General

HARRISBURG (KDKA/AP) -- Democrat Eugene DePasquale has won a three-way race for state auditor general, according to the Associated Press.

He defeated Republican John Maher and Libertarian Besty Summers.

His grandfather is the late Pittsburgh City Council President Eugene 'Jeep' DePasquale.

Last year, he said his views are not always those of his late grandfather, who was very pro-union and socially conservative.

DePasquale said he sees himself as a reformer, more pro-business and moderate on social issues.
