4 Hospitalized After Rollover Accident In Fayette County

BROWNSVILLE (KDKA) -- Four people were flown by medical helicopters to local hospitals after a one-vehicle, rollover accident in Fayette County Thursday night.

According to emergency dispatchers with the county, the accident happened just before 10 p.m. on Route 40 or Albert Kaiser Memorial Highway in Brownsville

Multiple people were ejected from the vehicle.

Emergency officials say one person was flown to Children's Hospital for treatment; another was taken to Allegheny General Hospital and a third person was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

It's not known to what hospital the fourth person was taken.

There's no word on any of their conditions.

The accident forced the closure of the westbound side of the road, but the scene has since been cleared.
