How Can The Pa. Turnpike Keep Up Revenue?

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) -- The Pennsylvania Turnpike needs $450 million.

The banks keep lending money, and the Turnpike has to raise gas taxes and fares in order to keep up with the debt.

People can't stop using the Turnpike if it's on their commute, and people's safety on the roads needs to stay a priority.

Is there any other way to raise additional revenue?

KDKA Radio's Robert Mangino talks with Auditor General Jack Wagner to see how there might be a solution to this cycle.

Listen to Robert Mangino weeknights from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on NewsRadio 1020 KDKA.
