1 Killed In Butler Co. Motorcycle Accident
MUDDY CREEK TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – One person was killed in a Sunday evening motorcycle accident in Butler County.
According to police, the accident happened on the offramp from State Route 422 to Route 19 in Muddy Creek Township around 6:20 p.m.
The driver of the motorcycle, Thomas Shaffer, 49, of Slippery Rock, lost control on the ramp and struck an embankment.
Shaffer was pronounced dead at the scene and police believe speed was a factor in the accident.
