Couple Gets Into Fight After Watching Dr. Phil
AMBRIDGE (KDKA) - Dr. Phil prides himself on solving problems and bringing people together for the greater good, but that isn't what happened in Ambridge on Thanksgiving Day.
According to Police, 21-year-old Sarah Dusenberry and her 20-year-old boyfriend, Joseph Reefer got into a physical fight after watching a segment on Dr. Phil about former relationships and ex-partners.
Police say Dusenberry sustained bruises and scrapes after Reefer pushed her into a mirror, and a potted cactus plant.
Reefer was arrested and charged with assault, and harassment and carted off to the Beaver County Jail where he remained until he made bail Monday.
When KDKA-TV's Brenda Waters arrived at the Maplewood apartments Tuesday, she found Dusenberry moving out her belongings with the help of friends.
Dusenberry did not want to talk about the incident except to say "my family has been humiliated enough."
