Teen Girl Recovering After Rape, Overdose

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A 15-year-old girl is recovering after authorities say she was given drugs and was raped in Washington County.

Police arrested 21-year-old Michael Vallor, saying he allegedly gave the girl marijuana and K2, then had sex with her at a tanning salon. It was Tuesday night when the teenager's father says she snuck out of her home.

The tanning salon is located in the basement of a house in West Brownsville.

The girl was found on her porch by her mother's boyfriend around 5 a.m. Tuesday and was suffering from "medical distress," according to police.

"If he wouldn't have woken up to go hunting yesterday; 15 minutes longer and my daughter would have been dead or brain dead," the victim's father said.

She was taken to Mon Valley Hospital and later was taken by medical helicopter to Children's Hospital and treated for an overdose.

"That they could just have her like that, in that condition, and not even knock on the door, take her to an emergency room," the teen's father said.

The 15-year-old remains at Children's Hospital in intensive care.

The teen's father also says he was able to make some phone calls and tracked down Vallor. He says he found the 21-year-old hiding in an abandoned building and then took Vallor to state police.

Vallor is facing rape, assault and drug charges.

He is in the Washington County Jail on $15,000 bond.
