PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Tom Cruise will make his way to Pittsburgh soon to promote his new movie “Jack Reacher.”

More than 1,600 tickets to the premier have been given out, but even people that don’t have tickets are still encouraged to attend the event.

There will also be giveaways for iPads and Xbox 360s, as well as last minute tickets to the screening.
Cruise is expected to speak and thank the city, along with Director Christopher McQuarrie and Andrew McCutchen of the Pirates, in the Town Square around 12:30 p.m.
