See Tom Cruise At South Side Works

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Tom Cruise will make his way to Pittsburgh soon to promote his new movie "Jack Reacher."

The movie premiers Saturday, Dec. 15 in Pittsburgh at the South Side Works Cinemas, but people without tickets don't need to fret.

More than 1,600 tickets to the premier have been given out, but even people that don't have tickets are still encouraged to attend the event.

Festivities will likely start around 11 a.m. and Cruise is expected to show up early to greet fans.

There will also be giveaways for iPads and Xbox 360s, as well as last minute tickets to the screening.

Cruise is expected to speak and thank the city, along with Director Christopher McQuarrie and Andrew McCutchen of the Pirates, in the Town Square around 12:30 p.m.

The release date for "Jack Reacher" is Dec. 21.
