Mayor Offers Tickets To "Jack Reacher" With Contest

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Starting Monday, Pittsburghers can enter to win two tickets to the premier of "Jack Reacher."

Mayor Luke Ravenstahl announced that the city will launch a Facebook contest at noon Monday.

The city will post daily trivia questions about the filming of "Jack Reacher."

The first five people who are fans of the city's Facebook page to correctly answer the questions will be put into a drawing for the tickets.

"We're extremely thrilled that Pittsburgh will be hosting its first U.S. premiere in decades, and we wanted to share that excitement with our thousands of Facebook fans," Ravenstahl said in a media release.

A winner will be chosen at random at 1 p.m. Friday.

Trivia question will be posted at noon each day.

"Jack Reacher" premiers Saturday, Dec. 15 at South Side Works.

Director Christopher McQuarrie, Andrew McCutchen of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Tom Cruise will all be at the event.

The release date for "Jack Reacher" is Dec. 21.
