Pirates' McCutchen Helps With Home Run Wedding Proposal
INDIANA, Pa. (KDKA) – Center fielder Andrew McCutchen has been a been a part of some big baseball assists in his career with the Pittsburgh Pirates, but he may have had his biggest assist Wednesday night at the Indiana Mall.
Renda Broadcasting of Indiana says they were approached by Pirates fan Ryan Skomra, asking if the Pirates star would give a box with an engagement ring to his girlfriend as they were coming through the line at a special V.I.P. reception during the Pirates Caravan.
In the video, you can see Skomra's girlfriend Tracy Pardee getting an autograph from McCutchen, and then he hands her the box.
That's when Ryan gets down on one knee, and proposes to Tracy.
A very surprised Tracy said "yes."
