Animal Friends Donation Information

Animal Friends is caring for a dog that was, allegedly shot in the head with a crossbow by its owner.

The arrow was able to be removed, but the tip remains lodged in the dog's head.

Three other dogs were taken to the shelter while officials investigated the incident.

The dog's owner faces animal cruelty charges after admitting that he shot the dog.
