Snow Expected Overnight

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The January thaw seems to be over as cooler temperatures have moved in again.

A winter weather advisory is in effect for some counties on the fringe of the Pittsburgh region.

Somerset, Clearfield and Cambria counties are all under advisory for icing and wide snow late Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning.

"That could really make for some tricky travel late tonight and first thing tomorrow morning," KDKA Meteorologist Dennis Bowman said.

The rest of the Pittsburgh area is expected to get about 1 inch of snow cover starting late Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning.

Snow is possible again Sunday too.
