Man Arrested After Threatening State Trooper On Facebook

WESTMORELAND COUNTY, Pa. (KDKA) - A Delmont man was arrested Tuesday, accused of threatening a state trooper after an arrest last year.

Detectives say 29-year-old Andrew Fulton is now in the Westmoreland County Jail for terroristic threats, and harassment charges for threatening to kill the trooper.

A criminal complaint states that Kiski Valley Trooper David Williams arrested Fulton on drug charges in July 2012.

In January Fulton posted the threat on his Facebook page.

In that alleged threat, Fulton wrote, "I want to hurt Williams with a gun. I will Kill him. After everything I went through, I still want to get Williams for what he did."

Police say they were recently emailed the threat, and that's what started the investigation.

Fulton is in the Westmoreland County Jail on $100,000 bond.
