WVU's Holgorsen: 25 Percent Of Recruiting Class Will Fail

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - West Virginia Mountaineers head coach Dana Holgorsen joined Starkey and Miller on 93.7 the Fan to talk about signing day.

"It's so hard to predict (the success of recruits signed today). Of the 25 guys we signed, hopefully you can get 25 percent to be difference makers, 25 percent of them to be program players, 25 percent to be legitimate starters and 25 percent to be busts," Holgorsen said.

Holgorsen signed players from 15 states, including McKeesport linebacker Hodari Christian.

"You try to identify what your needs are. You go out and recruit the guys who want to be there," Holgorsen told the Fan. "Then, it's about player development, it's about getting the guys to act right and getting them to go to class and remain academically eligible. Just become a bigger, faster, stronger football player every day."
