Woman Accused Of Shooting Up Bar Owned By Uniontown Mayor
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police in Fayette County have issued a warrant for a woman in connection with a shooting that sent a bullet into the apartment of the mayor of Uniontown.
The incident happened overnight at the Park's Casino Bar on Connellsville Street.
The establishment used to be owned by Mayor Ed Fike, but he had to sell it before taking office and now lives in an apartment upstairs.
It's not clear if he was home around 1:45 a.m., but that's when a bullet came through his floor.
According to a criminal complaint filed by police, 24-year-old Tamara Hall was drinking at the bar when for some unknown reason pulled out a handgun and fired it into the ceiling.
There were numerous other people in the bar at that time, but no one was hurt.
However, the damage is estimated at around $500.
Hall is charged with disorderly conduct, reckless endangerment and also a firearms violation. Police have a warrant for her arrest.
