Brothers Killed Weeks Apart, No Motives Or Suspects

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police are looking for the person who fatally shot a man early Saturday morning, just weeks after his brother was killed.

Gunshots were heard around 2:30 a.m. near Enterprise Street in Larimer Saturday.

When police responded, they found 26-year-old Brian Wright of Homewood unresponsive. Wright was found near the intersection of Tangent Way and Enterprise Street.

Police say Wright's brother, Maurice Bruce, was also recently killed on Feb. 4. Bruce was killed after leaving a bar in Homewood, near Hamilton Avenue and Sterrett Street.

No motive has been identified in either case and police have no arrests.

Police ask anyone with information about either murder to contact the Pittsburgh Homicide Squad at 412-323-7161.
