Marcellus Shale Hour: Our Country's Future
PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) -- KDKA's Robert Mangino spoke to two experts on natural gas drilling in Pennsylvania and the country.
Range Resources Spokesman Matt Pitzarella and Senior Fellow of The Manhattan Institute, Mark Mills, gave their opinions on where the Marcellus shale industry is headed.
"Gas exporting can open up the global market for domestic gas and if the U.S. becomes a major supplier of natural gas, conflict diffuses with other nations," Miller said.
He also said that, "Marcellus shale can have a profound change in the United States' economic status. We can go from a dependent on exports to an energy exporting powerhouse."
Mills also is the CEO and Founder of Digital Power Group , a tech-centric capital advisory group. He writes the "Energy Intelligence" column for Forbes magazine and is co-author of the book, "The Bottomless Well."
Listen to the Marcellus Shale hour every Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on NewsRadio 1020 KDKA.
