Pirates baseball and spring training took center stage as the discussion turned to young talent. The panel discussed the Pirates’ need to take advantage of spring training to test out their young pitchers, saying this is the time of year where young talent gets much needed experience.
Pratte also talked about how he is impressed by the advances made in women’s college basketball, explaining how girls are now starting at a younger age than they used to and it has resulted in better play.
