Steelers Welcome William Gay Back To Team

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Steelers announced they have signed veteran cornerback William Gay.

The team said it is a three-year contract, but did not disclose financial terms.

Gay was originally selected by the Steelers in the fifth round of the 2007 NFL Draft.

He spent last season with the Arizona Cardinals, and had two interceptions, and three forced fumbles.

The team says in his five seasons with the Steelers he started eight postseason games and helped the Steelers win two AFC Championships and Super Bowl XLIII.
