Delmont Man Charged With Allegedly Threatening Girlfriend, Boy

DELMONT (KDKA) -- A Delmont man is behind bars after gunfire rang out at his mobile home.

Robert Spigler, 26, is facing aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, drug and related charges.

Police say he was arguing with his girlfriend Tuesday night about issues with her son. Spigler then pulled out a gun and allegedly threatened to shoot the two before walking outside and firing three shots into the air.

Investigators say he then went back inside and fired two to three more shots.

It all happened at the couple's Chip Lane mobile home.

Spigler then went to a house on West Pittsburgh Street where authorities say he hid two handguns and drug paraphernalia. Police later searched the home and recovered it.

Neighbors say the couple recently got engaged.

Police say it's amazing no one was hurt.

Spigler is being held on $50,000 bond.
