City Of Pittsburgh Owes 900 Residents Money

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – There are 900 residents that are owed money from the City of Pittsburgh, are you one of them?

The money is in amounts from $1 to $26,000, but if you are on the list, you better act fast.

The city says you have until April 1, 2013 to claim the funds before the money gets forwarded to the state.

If your name does appear on the list, contact Council President Harris' Office at 412-255-2135 to verify that these funds are you, and not for someone else who shares a name with you.

Proof of ID may be necessary, such as a copy of driver's license or another form of government-issued photographic identification.

If you can prove you are entitled to the money, the city will gladly return it to you.
